“I began practicing yoga at the age of 18 through community classes while I attended UNT. I started consistently practicing yoga shortly thereafter, and haven't stopped since.
In the summer of 2019 I decided I wanted to share my love of yoga with others, and deepen my personal practice.I completed a 200 hour yoga teacher training program, which was Baptiste inspired, and focused on Power Vinyasa Yoga.
Upon gaining my teacher certification, I rediscovered my love for gentle yoga, slow flow, and yin practices and have made them apart of my daily personal practice. In my free time, I like to snuggle my 2 dogs, tend to my plants, and travel. I'm excited to start teaching at Bodhi Tree and hope to see you on your mat! "
"Bo" is from the San Francisco Bay Area where he was first introduced to yoga. Fascinated from the very start, he continued on to become a certified instructor YTT200 and intensive Yin studies.
He is very interested in cross discipline practice and how yoga can enhance and enrich our wellness, unlock potential, and provide healing. Yoga is in his heart and spirit and he's been immersed in it ever since being hooked from his very first experience. It's a magnificent practice, from its mental and physically liberating aspects, to its spirit of joy, and self care.
He has a deep passion for Yin in particular with strong influences from Bernie Clark. His classes offer significant balance and enhancement to Yang Yoga, as well as other practices, sports and activities. Whatever your level or need, there is something for you here. He welcomes the opportunity to share a safe healing space and enriching environment for you to explore your own practice and needs.
